Led by China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd, the series of technical seminars on the standard of “the performance requirements and test methods for traffic jam pilot system” was successfully convened on May 12th 2021, with both online and off-line meetings.
The seminars are dedicated to extensive discussions of the operational design condition (ODC), operational design domain (ODD), minimum following distance, time limit for the start/stop system function, conditions for the driver to take over the system under Traffic Jam Pilot System (TJP).
A number of expert representatives attended the meetings, who come from a variety of automotive, telecommunication and test & certification institutions, including China Automobile Research Institute, Tongji University, Changan Automobile, Geely Automobile, Beijing Automotive Research Institute, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle, Bosch China, Qingdao Hisense, Xuchang Cape Testing Institute, Baidu Netxun, and China Classification Society certification company, etc.
