As the first comprehensive intelligent transportation construction area in China, Xiong'an New Area has achieved a series of leading breakthroughs, including the construction of the country's first urban level digital road, the launch of autonomous driving bus routes in a community wide open road environment, and the integration of intelligent connected buses into the urban conventional bus system.

Autonomous buses have become a norm in Xiong'an New Area, with a response speed far exceeding that of human drivers. With high-tech sensors, they achieve environmental perception within a 240 meter range around the vehicle. This perceptual ability not only amazed passengers, but also provided strong support for the development of autonomous driving technology.

Xiong'an New Area has also built intelligent transportation facilities such as smart street lights and smart zebra crossings through multifunctional information poles and intelligent operation center systems. These facilities utilize big data intelligent analysis and multi-sensor fusion technology to collect real-time road information, providing important data support for collaborative control of traffic signals. For example, through the "Green Wave Belt" control, Xiong'an New Area has achieved intelligent signal light adjustment for multiple continuous intersections on the main road, helping vehicles avoid waiting at red lights as much as possible and improving traffic efficiency.
