On the afternoon of September 18, 2024, local time, the China ITS Industry Alliance and ERTICO-ITS Europe successfully renewed their Memorandum of Cooperation. Both parties have the common objective of increasing cooperation in the field of intelligent Transport Systems and Services (ITS). China and Europe face common challenges to mobility. At the same time both regions increasingly cooperate in the field of TS research and development and encourage knowledge exchange. Europe and China also recognize the benefits of promotion of standards in ITS at a global level.”

Promoting international exchanges and cooperation in the ITS industry is one of the key missions of China ITS Industry Alliance. The Alliance has been actively participating as a member organization in the ITS Asia-Pacific and representing in the ITS World Congress Board. It has long collaborated with ITS Asia-Pacific, ERTICO-ITS Europe, and ITS America, dedicated to advancing international exchanges and cooperation for China's ITS industry.

The renewal of this Memorandum of Cooperation marks a new milestone in the cooperation between China and Europe in the ITS sector. Both parties will jointly explore technological innovations and standardization to address the challenges in the global development of ITS.
