The 28th ITS World Congress was held at the Los Angeles International Convention Center from September 18 to 22, 2022. Under the theme of "Transformation by Transportation", over 200 diverse sessions and activities were held. More than 6000 ITS practitioners and professionals including national leaders, policy makers and experts, over 300 enterprises and organizations from 64 countries (regions) participated in this ITS world event.
During the Congress more than 150 sessions were held, delving into seven major aspects of ITS including digital infrastructure, connected vehicles technologies, MaaS, traffic safety and sustainability.
Over 300 ITS enterprises from the world exhibited and showcased their latest and advanced achievements and products including traffic management system,automated vehicles,commercial vehicle operation and etc.
The congress also organized 10 featured showcases, 4 technical tours of Los Angeles City and 9 special events. The LA World Congress provides opportunities for the world to put unified efforts to build a much safer, greener and smarter transport system after the pandemic.
The ITS World Congress, called the ITS Olympic, is the largest, broadest and most influential comprehensive world event in the field of intelligent transportation around the world. The 29th ITS World Congress will be held in Suzhou, China, in 2023.
